  1. CHESS ! play chess day and night !

  2. It really depends on what you and your family would like. Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan are two great games that come to mind. For younger kids you may want to look at Gulo Gulo and Chicken Cha Cha Cha, these are two of my daughters favorites.

  3. Monopoly, Parchesi, Trivial Pursuit.

You never said anything about the ages of the kids involved.  Very young kids, Candyland and early grade school?  Uncle Wriggley.

I tried to name some classics.. lol

  4. Cranium...so much fun!

  5. chess

  6. Mad Gab...not exactly a board game but a lot of fun and you get to watch your other family members sound like an idiot. (who doesnt love that?!?!?!)

  7. For two, we love Mancala.  It is one of the few games where a smart little kid can learn to beat an adult fairly quickly.  For more than two, we like Rummikub, a two newer ones called Equate, and Quoridor, and of course, Scrabble.

  8. taboo is really fun, the more ppl the better

  9. Careers.

    Payday.

    Sorry!

    Clue.

    Life.

    Scrabble.

    Home Alone.

    Goosebumps.

    13 Dead End Drive.

  10. Apples to Apples.... and Mad Gab is really fun. Mad Gab is one of my favortie games.

  11. apples to apples, clue, life & Cranium are all really good games. Catch phrase is also fun, but not a board game.

  12. Life, Chutes and Ladders, Checkers, Uno isn't a board game but from 4 years old and up they love it>

    Have Fun!

  13. Mahjong! Makes your brain work and at the same time helps to relax... Terrific game originating from the ancient China.

The point is to find and take two identical tiles off the playfield. Computer Mahjongs are just chef d'oeuvres of graphical art.

The best pc version of the mahjong game is Mahjong Towers Eternity - that has a chat and allows creating your own tile layouts and share them with other players.

  14. Monopoly, Life, Mouse Trap, Apples to Apples, Pictionary. . .

  15. Trivial Pursuit.

You can set the teams as 'boys against girls' or 'blondes against brunettes' or whatever.  It's loads of fun.

  16. When I was younger I loved to play Clue, Scrabble and Pictionary with my family. I also enjoyed playing trivia games, some games come with both adult and child questions, so it's great for the whole family. The new Scene It games are really good too, they have easy to hard questions and they are a lot of fun. My favorite is the Disney version.
