What is a good family resort?

Question

it doesn't really matter where.. just somewhere that i safe for children. preferably somewhere warm and tropical (florida, the caribbean).. we have two adults.. 1 teen (15).. and 4 kids (6months, 2, 4, 7).. what is a good family resort that we can go to? (kids activities, beach, pools, etc.)

Club med

The one in Cancun is my favorite but it has lots of  kids here's some info

I went to Club Med Cancun and it was wonderful the kids were being taken care of at the clubs but when we wanted to take the kids out of the club then we could do that. there are three beaches; an activity beach, a watercraft (windsurf, canoe, catamarans, etc) beach, and a sport\swim\relaxing beach. They had two poolside bars, A Beach side snack bar, a restaurant with views of the lagoon (where you can wake board, water ski, and see Albert, one of the few crocodiles named Albert), and a beach side bar with a connected restaurant. The snorkeling is phenomenal. They have a coral reef that people pay hundreds of dollars to see that you get for free. When we were there they went to the water park that was near by and had polo and poker tournaments. They have nightly shows preformed by the staff. They also have 2 kinds of volley ball, beach soccer, a gym, tennis AND so much more. at the end of the week the kids get a medal

Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

It is right next to Xcaret park (a GREAT place for the whole family!), and is very family-friendly.  It has a pools and a small lagoon, which is better for kids than an ocean beach - I'd be afraid of kids swimming in the ocean.

They also have tons of kid's activities on-site.  And it's all-inclusive.

There are a lot of suppliers with air/hotel packages to Mexico - Funjet often has the best prices.
