  1. yeah right jmarie.. you are full of ****

    www.Craigslist.com

Excellent site to look for used cars in your area.

  2. toyota or honda, most boys also prefer to have a pick up truck rather than a small car.

  3. Well, you are certainly thinking of buying a car at the right time.  With the serious decline in the economy, you can find a lot of great deals on cars.

With that said, you may find it difficult to find a vehicle that is not too old on your budget .  So when you do purchase a vehicle, you want to make sure it's good quality.  My recommendation is to search for a Honda Civic...or any Honda for that matter.  Honda's have a great reputation for quality and long life.  But the reputation of the Civic is probably the best!  In addition to this, they are great on gas.

By the way, stay away from ALL Hyundai's!  It doesn't matter what type of deal you think you're getting...it's garbage.  Both my friends and I have experience with this.

    Happy hunting!

  4. Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera and Buick Century. Mine's a '96, bought it 2 years ago for $1000 and it's been great. As a 17 YEAR OLD MALE my insurance is $600 a year. Gas mileage is good; I've gotten as high as 32 on the highway with the V6. Toyotas and Hondas are overpriced because people who don't know anything about cars tend to treat them like they're the second coming. The truth is that it matters more how well the previous owner took care of the car than who makes it. I bought mine from the original owner who was very honest and took great care of the car.

  5. my brother got a Corvette. '05, and '08

    my sister got a Lamborghini.

    my mom has a Lexus.

and my dad has a Corvette. '62

and we have porsche, and bmw

  6. Any Honda.  Indestructible.

  7. A Honda Accord or Toyota Corolla. Both of these cars will last a good long time if taken care of. Examples from as old as the early 1980s are still on the road even today for both.  For $3000, you should be able to find either one of them in decent shape.

My first car was a 1989 Subaru DL wagon. Wasn't fast, didn't win any cool contests, but it had AC when it was hot, Heat when it was cold, would start up every time and go where I wanted, especially with the 4WD function, in a car, other than aesthetics, can't ask for more than that.

So, I would look for a Honda Accord or Toyota Corolla, those two cars are popular for a reason: they work, work well, and last a long time.

Another good choice is a 1985-1994 Subaru GL/DL/GL-10 series, boxy, but easy to work on and will also get the job done.
