What is a good first car for me?

Question

Ok, I'm 15yrs old and looking for my first car. I'm not looking for anything too special or powerful, just a small SUV. Not looking to spend any more than $5,000. It must have a V6 engine. I've been looking at '01 Honda Passports, but I'd like some other similar vehicles as options. Does anybody know of a nice 4-5 seater small SUV with decent mileage that would be nice? I don't need specific links to cars for sale, just models that have an average price of $5,000 or less. All I want is a car with decent speed/acceleration and to install a kickass stereo system.

Isuzu Rodeo. They are around that price at the year 2000

google 'MSN autos'... You can look up used vehicles and get the blue book value... USUALLY they are sold less then the blue book...

ps... you should buy a 4 cylinder car.. Gas is only gonna go up!!

go to www.craigslist.com  they got cars..but some are scams.

Suggest you to to WWW.CarMax.Com...you can put in all the parameters of what you are looking for and it will give you dozens of choices. For the price range you mentioned, try to get some sort of warranty and look for lower mileage.  Hopefully you will have an older adult give you some guidance.  Good Luck !
