Question:

What is a good flat top kabuki brush?

I'd like to get a flat top kabuki, or maybe a round one but I'd prefer the flat one, to replace my stippling brush which I didn't know gave only sheer coverage! Anyways, I'd like to buy one that isn't over 30 dollars and that I can get at Sephora or a department store. Anyone have any good suggestions? And it has to be dense enough to offer medium to fuller coverage without making the powder look caked on.

  1. I like Bare Escentials mineral foundation kabuki brush. Its pretty dense and great for buffing on makeup that you would like more fuller coverage for. For a cheaper, smaller version, you could also get the bareminerals handy-buki brush, which pretty much does the same thing, only it has less surface area. You can get these at Sephora and Im pretty sure they're under $30.00

    Good luck!

  2. Well, mac has a good one, but i'm pretty sure it's over $30. Maybe try going to your local cco (cosmetics company outlet) and seeing if they have it for less.

    Hope this helps!

  3. everyday minerals has the best brushes imo
