I have pretty good skin (I have like 2 small pimples and my cheeks are always red, but that is from my Sicilian genes) and I have always used drugstore cosmetics. I want to splurge on some nice high-end foundations that make my skin look like porcelin. What do you suggest?

P.S. I have used bareminerals and it broke me out. :(

  1. bee luscious has the best. it don't have any bismuth or talc so it wont break you out. and your skin breathes with it.

  2. Revlon Colorstay for Normal/Dry Skin

  3. neutrogena doesn't clog at all I love it are its like 10 bucks which is kinda a lot.

  4. Dream Matte Muesse is so good!!! I love it

  5. high-end foundations are a versatile group. some are fantastic, others aren't. drugstore foundations TEND TO BE amazing. and are cheap [x

  6. Honestly no-one can tell you what would be the best, because every ones skin is different and reacts to different things. but what i have heard works well on a lot of people that i know is maybelline's mineral power and the true blend stuff i forget who its made by. but honestly just try different brands and see what works for you

  7. Use Cover FX's Powder FX.

I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and it's really great.

My dermatologist recommended it to me and before I used Bare Minerals as well.

It's $20-30 at Sephora, depending on where you live.

If you don't live in the US and live in Canada, you can get it at most Shopper's Drugmarts.

  8. i use mineral power, and love it ;)

  9. aw, i'm sad bareminerals didn't work for you! i LOVE that stuff.

for my wedding i got nicer make-up and found that a combination of MAC concealer and their studio-fix pressed powder is the best. my face looked flawless, and it isn't! the concealer just comes in a small squeeze tube and goes on with a brush., then with a bigger brush, put the powder over it. so nice and it didn't cause a breakout, ever! thats my suggestion!

  10. I just bought Covergirl's Tru Blend today and i love love it.I asked the same question on here and most ppl said Loreal TruMatch or Covergirl anything by Covergirl is amazing i also bought theire concealer today :) also I reccomend using Biore Moisturizing lotion on ur face before you put on your foundation, let it set for 1 min and then apply ur foundation hope i helped u out!

  11. bare minerals should not break you out. Try a skin care treatment for breakouts. then try bare minerals again

  12. try bare essentials, you can get it at sephora it works really good

  13. Try Mineral Perfect.  It doesn't have the bismuth oxychloride that Bare Minerals has (which irritates sensitive skin).  Also, be sure to clean your brushes often because they can harbor bacteria!  Hope this helps!

  14. I use Tarte Smooth Operator foundation in Facade.  I have fair skin and break out if I use the wrong foundation and this stuff seems to work well.  I also have slight rosacea and this foundation tones down the red.  The mineral foundations, like Bare Minerals and Bare Essentials, makes my skin oily and break out too.   If you have a Sephora near you, go and have them evaluate your skin.  That's what I did and they helped me find the right foundation and the right color so I look natural and not "made-up".

  15. tru blend is the best ive ever used.

  16. I suggest Dream Matte Mousse ♥ :)

    Join the revolution.

DMM can be bought in pharmacies, drugstores, some corner stores, etc.. and costs approximately 10$, depending on where you go, I guess. I've tried high-end, expensive foundations like Estee Lauder, and they don't compare to dream matte mousse, it's wonderful!

  17. Quo or MAC foundationn

    is ammmazingg i love it:)

    hopee this helped

  18. Almay liquid foundation, top it off with Almay powder with the brush.

  19. MAC has some really light foundations

  20. try using tinted moisturizers.
