My skin has a reddish tone to it. Can you recommend an at-home treatment (either purchased or homemade) to help this? Can you recommend a foundation that is best for covering this (and freckles)? About 3 hours after I apply makeup (covergirl) I can see the red tone again. Thanks!

  1. Ignorance. It's Bliss!

  2. Id recommend Maybelliner Pure Mineral Foundation. Its really good, and it covers your spots, without them looking like they've been caked in foundation. And its so pure, you could sleep in it!

It doesn't clog up your pores or skin at all, because it has no chemicals in.

  3. Just wash your makeup off before you go bed.

If it irritates take it off straight away , Just change the brand , you may be allergic to some of the ingredients.

M.A.C do a good foundation. (Costs about £18)

It is a moisturizer and a foundation so it won't dry out your skin!

Try LUSH makeup it is totally naturel so you most likely won't get a reaction out of it!]

    Hope it helps =)

  4. sheer cover natural mineral make up sounds really gd!!!!!!!!!!

  5. You probably dont have rosacia but its a possibility. But i have the same problem as you. What i use is Eucerin Redness Relife Lotion with SPF 15. The lotion is actually green, which tone's down the red in your skin. As for foundation try Mayabelline Mouse Foundation. Its a little heavy so it would cover the frekles best probably.
