What is a good fps for an airsoft gun?

I'm trying to find a good airsoft gun but I'm not sure what fps is good. I want it to be very accurate over a long range but I don't want it to be so hard that at close range I could draw blood if I shoot someone.

320++ any above dont listen to any of the MEXICANS who say buy at walmart or Co2 is better, first off green gas and especialy RED GAS is much more powerful than co2 and doesnt require u to replace canisters.  EVIKE.COM best airsoft website in the US they categorize everything from 1 - 10 from walmart g*y guns - pro-style guns classic army, tokyo marui are two really good brands, ICS is also good and is reliable if u dont have alot of money to spend

a good gun at 300 fps will go 50 feet and not hurt at all but if at point blank will break skin. if you get a gun at 300 fps, after 5 feet it won't break skin.

a bad gun at 250 will go 30 feet and not do anything at any range.

a REALLY good gun at 400 to 450 fps will go 200 feet and still sting. it will also break skin at  30 feet.

You really do have to realize that the accuracy has more to do with the barrel size than the speed too. if the barrel you have is anything larger than 6.01 mm, it will be inaccurate at 50 feet no matter what. The speed only has to do with the range, but doesn't effect the range as much as accuracy does. an accurate gun will simply go farther than an inaccurate gun.

110-130 is weak those are like electrics i think spring is near 200 and co2 is like 300.
