What is a good free music program?

Lime wire,Kazza,what not. It's gotta be free and is there anyway to avoid viruses? With good underground music available

soulseek is the best program for indie/underground music. that's its focus, and it has a lot of stuff you won't find on limewire and similar programs.

Definitely Limewire. But don't download any programs unless you have a virus protection. NOT A FREE ONE.

Ever since Oink went down it's been pretty rough.  Soulseek has great selection, but it will take you forever to find someone who is uploading at an agreeable speed.  Different torrent sites offer different torrents.  The Pirate Bay has the most torrents.  Mininova has a lot, too.

Demonoid has ratio "requirements" like Oink did, but they're not really enforced and the selection is pretty poor.  Upload speeds tend to be good, though.  It is also invite-only.

If you're planning on using torrents and have a PC, download uTorrent to download the torrents themselves.

Shareaza or Torrent programs like UTorrent or Bitorrent. They are both completly free.

I would think that Limewire would be the best. After you install it go and download the pro version from Limewire *LOL* You don't have to but it makes the downloads go so much faster!

Try FrostWire, but just so you know, it's illegal to download copyrighted music off of it, aka, music that you have to pay for normally. FrostWire is LimeWire Pro for free.
