Question:

What is a good fun Wedding reception entrance song?

My fiance and I can't agree on a song to be introduced to our wedding reception. I want something fun and he wants something slow, and lovey. His suggestions have been Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight & Elton John - Your Song, yes they are good songs but for an entrance they seem a bit slow and gloomy.

Meanwhile my suggestions have been Dangerzone, I'm a Believer and Your The One That I Want. I need some help finding a song that is in the middle that we will both be happy with.

BTW - The wedding is in 3 weeks.

Any help is appreciated:-)

  1. If you really have a good sense of humor I dare you to play 'The ***** Is Back' by Elton John!

    LOL!

  2. Get Ready For This      (2 Unlimited)

Love Walks In                (Van Halen)   the intro part

Lets Get It Started         (Black Eyed Peas)

  3. I go for savvy and fun.  How about Another one bites the dust.

  4. The song my husband and I enjoyed most to see a bride and groom enter to was "You're My Best Friend" by Queen:

It was so sweet, yet upbeat and fun at the same time.

    Congratulations and good luck!

  5. I did Beautiful Day by U2.  It's got a pretty melody but a fun beat.  Maybe that can be a compromise for you two.

  6. Another One Bites The Dust.   :D

  7. I'm on my way or 500 miles - The Proclaimer

    I had "Slice of heaven"

I think "I Believe in a thing called love" by the Darkness would be awesome too :)
