What is a good gift for a 10 year old boy that likes sports and how much do you spend?

If he likes sports, how about a gift card to a sports store and he can pick out what he wantds/needs.  The amount is up to you, whatever is in your budget.

well if he really likes the sport football get him a flag foot ball set usually at wal mart for around $30. so that way he can practice with his pals and play for fun.

get him a replica jersey of his favorite team and/or player.  when i was 10, if anybody had handed me an Alan Trammell (Detroit Tigers) jersey, i'd have cried, then fainted.

I teach 9 & 10 year olds.  The boys into sports would have loved:

gift card to Academy, or other sports store

UnderArmor brand clothing

something with the logo of their favorite team

sweat bands with UnderArmor/Nike logo

book with a sports theme.  (there are several good ones out there aimed at that age group)

tickets to a game, or an invitation to join you
