  1. a gps system

  2. A life preserver.(show you care!)

  3. Just a couple of quick ideas.  We sailed the leeward islands and looking back on the trip I really wish I had a map of the route we had taken.   There were six of us and the Captain had the map - we should have purchased additional copies.  Another really great gift would be "The Night Sky Dial" from Amazon.com.  About $10.  Allows you to find different things like the big dipper etc.  How about an underwater disposable camera for the snorkle/diving pictures.   If they are picture taking people like me, then a gift card for picture developing will be greatly appreciated when they return.  Combine it with a nice photo album.  Is this person going to help sail the boat like we did?  Maybe a "Captains" hat with a cute logo on it that they can wear.   Hope they have fun and good luck with your gift.

  4. How about a bottle of wine or champaign?

A good gift for almost any occasion :)

  5. Hey, everyone stole my answers so I'm going to have to go with a pirate flag.

  6. Polarized sunglasses.  Believe me, they'll appreciate them:-)

  7. A small "dry bag" for wallet, cell phone etc..

  8. A book that gives some helpful tips about sailing.

  9. biodramine so he/she won't throw up

  10. shark repellant and life insurance.  Maybe a visor?
