  1. my dad loves those soduko books...if you aren't sure maybe a few different puzzle books?

  2. Take him a couple of magazines. Go to a bookstore and buy some you know he doesn't subscribe to. I don't know what he's into - the man in my life gets Fine Woodworking, Atlantic Monthly, and Nature.

  3. I'd go for the flower option with a card. If you are in the UK you can very reasonably priced and good quality flowers in Sainsburys.

I think that is a lovely gesture and if you get a really colourful bunch that will certainly cheer him up.

  4. Nice Plant he can plant outside later on

  5. A small painting containing a beautiful landscape is a great option.

  6. I would get him a plant and maybe a crossword puzzle book
