  1. As a grateful recipient I loved a home made card and a bar of good soap wrapped by the little one. My drawers were kept fragrant for years by these small but welcome gifts and I still have every card given to me over 25 years.

  2. apple!

  3. I see this question a lot, I do not believe in gift giving from students to teachers; this is not appropriate, and it may place a burden on some families if they feel they need to do this for their child.

Write him/her a nice thank you card for their time, and effort.

Let your child bake a plate of cookies that the teacher can share with the whole class.

  4. You could probably buy her some crafted apple earrings or an apple made of pottery.  Teachers love that.

  5. How about stationary sets? Teachers are always having to keep track of things. I got one of my teachers a desk organizer set.

  6. A pen holder made by your son will be useful & cute. Clean out a tin (baked beans tin or something), put glue all over the outside, wrap wool around and around until you have covered the whole tin. You can then get your son to draw something small and cut it out and stick it over the wool on the one side. Put some cheap & nice pencils in it and you are away!

  7. I agree with a couple of the others, cookies are always good, especially if the kid(s) made them. I used to give my teacher fugde that I made. :) Hope I helped.

  8. why don't you make a song for his teachers and ask your son to sing in front of them... then, let your son give them a big kiss..

  9. As a former teacher - I always liked getting home made cookies and candies ( only if they are REAl good though)  Also something hand made by the child is cool, or  a gift card to a bookstore.
