  1. Do the smart thing. Find a " ball hawk " or caddie who has a lot of " findsies", the best names and brands for about a half a buck apiece or less. These you buy with no fear of losing them, and they will fit your needs just fine.

  2. You should get this months issue of Golf Magazine , they have a great section dedicated to golf ball testing and what the Best Ball is for your swing type , swing speed , and handicap , I Learned some things I did not know , I think you will find it really helpful in your search , I will leave you the link in case you do not have the magazine .

    Good Luck.

  3. You would want the

    Titleist NXT Tour

    Bridgestone e5 or e6

    Srixon AD333

Golf.com has a complete list of golf balls.

  4. if you really want to get better, titelist or nike, titelist is really popular, and nike is what tiger uses... they're really expensive though

  5. The type golf ball isn't critical yet.  Look for those that don't cut or get smilies.......because if you are shooting 110,  your swing isn't there yet.  Spend the money you save on expensive golf balls on getting lessons.  Iron out that swing and improve your putting, break 90 consistently and then worry about type of golf ball.

  6. Only one answer for this is Pinacle gold

  7. Try the TOP FLIGHT distance golf balls, available at Wally World for about $10 a dozen, or if you really want to save money go to overstock.com and look for used either AA or AAA golf balls (precept's) seem to be about $20 for about 48 balls.

  8. Academy sells reloads for about $15.00 for 75. All kinds of balls are included. If you are like me (I have only been playing since July) I still lose a lot of balls and it doesn't hurt when I see a cheap ball sinking to the bottom of the water. You will still be able to get the feel of the ball when you hit to figure out which you like best.

  9. pinnicale has a great one callrd extreme , callaway has warbird . top flites are a good one also . no need to go to pro v or equilant lose distance and accuracy , lots of money . simplest solution . buy at wal-mart not at pro shop or golf outlet will save you money . disadvantage , more difficult to chip and putt with . as your game improves then you can up grade . that will be when you start mid 80s . until then save a lot of money. used saved money range time or lessons good luck

  10. I would use a harder ball like a TopFlite Super Long.  You want more distance with less spin.  A softer ball will cut and hook more because they allow for more spin on the ball.

  11. it's not the arrow it's the indian.

but really when you get to a higher level of golf (90's and under) then you can start worrying about which kind to buy. right now yo should get noodles. those are pretty good

  12. Maxfli Revolution, Titleist So-Lo.

  13. Get the Titleist DT - Solo.  retails for about $20.

  14. The cheapest ball you can find. Until you can hit 90 every time, pay no attention to what ball you are using. Just hit it straight. Remember, if you hit it right, a smooth spherical rock will fly as perfect as a golf ball. So until you can hit range ball rocks to target near every time, just use the clean ones you find in the rough. Until then, If you want to buy them, try the new D2 from Top Flite. 16 bucks for 15 balls. What a deal. And you lose less of them too. Pick Straight for the High Handicapper, Distance for the 12-15 handicap group, and Feel for the 12 and unders.

  15. i am a young golfer and i like to use topflite d2 balls there pretty cheap but work very well and can have straighter more distance and something else i cant remember.

  16. Top Flite D-2, these things are pretty dang good for the price!

  17. Your ability and how long you've been playing don't directly affect what ball you should use. The thing that does affect it is your swing speed.

If you're that high handicap you want something with low driver spin and moderate 9iron spin. The density and softness of the ball is a major factor too, but when you find your swing speed match ,that will be taken care of. Don't just go for a name. titleist is a great name, but not for everyone. If i could make a suggestion for a starting point, perhaps the Bridgestone 300E series or Srixon Ad333/ Srixon Trispeeds. They've got a great soft feel, are very durable and forgiving.

  18. Titlest NXT ... prov1 are too expensive, and they go about the same.

  19. Noodle

    Precept Laddie

  20. When you shoot fourty over par on average - I would not spend too much on your ball because it probably won't help you much. I would stick to cheap balls such as Top-Flites or Pinnacles.

  21. NIKE IS BEST

  22. Hey, I shoot around the same. The ball does not matter. I purchase Pinnacles because they are not the flimsiest, but they are not rock hard either. Go to the golf course and look for some golf balls in the bushes. Make sure you have a good mix. Hit all of them and see which one responds best to your swing.

  23. Srixon AD333

Cant find a better 20$ dozen
