i need a hair product that is really good and makes frizz go away. i live where it is very humid and it makes my hair so frizzy. i also blowdry and straighten my hair a lot. i have very thick, naturally straight hair. it is somewhat dry since i dye it regularly and all the heat from the dryer/straightener. usually drug store products just don't work for me so try to name some of the more expensive ones that actually work! thanks

  1. Well if I were you I would use Garnier Fructis and then spray a little bit of hair spray over your hair to flatten all the stray hairs down

  2. Philosophys serum

  3. Why do you want to use a hair iron/dryer when you have naturally straight hair?

If it's just the frizz you're worried about, use L'Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut Repair Masque. The serums, hair masks, shampoos as well as the conditioners of this range work real well. Try them all out. Don't mix shampoos and conditioners of different brands and different effects.. try working the same range.

These products aren't too expensive but you might not get them at a drug store.. try specialized salons.

  4. Woah, story of my life. My hair is your twin =)

I actually use an over the counter one, but I love it.

I use john frieda's thermal hair protecting serum.  (It's the orangish one). It's a serum, so it helps with the frizz a lot, and helps with the little broken hairs by my scalp from straightening it.  I blow dry my hair about 75% of the way dry, and add one squirt of it throughout.  I brush it in, and finish blowdrying it, then straighten it.  Once in awhile I'll add a tiny bit more while I'm straightening it, depending on how frizzy my hair wants to be.

Don't use a whole squirt on your hair when it's already completely dry though, or it tends to look greasy later on in the day.

Try that. It's None Of Your Frizzness Smoothing Leave-In Cream.

    A mouthful I know. ;)

I also like Biosilk, althought that one's pretty expensive. I usually mix the two products together.

I'd really recommend the Frizzness stuff though.. I have naturally thick and wavy hair and that stuff works wonders!

    (Even when it's humid.)
