If you are a candidate for lap band you will be out of the height and weight guidelines of all individual insurance companies. The only option might be if you have employees you can talk with an independent agent that works with all the major companies and look into getting a group policy. However, a small group is still individually underwritten so the premium will be higher for everyone in the group.
