  1. 3 or above.

  2. Well it depends on whether you are talking about weighted or unweighted, as well as whether your school has honors courses. 3.11 isn't the best, but it's definately not horrible unless you've taken a lot of honors courses. Work on getting a few more A's to bring it up, and get a good ACT or SAT score and you'll be fine.

  3. Above a 3.5 is good for me. But I wouldn't settle for good, a couple of my friends have above a 4.0 and we are sophomores. The 9th rank in our class is 4.0, all the rest above are better.

  4. A 3.11 is good, as in above average, but not great.  It may hurt you in the admissions process.  Try and raise it as high as possible, perhaps to a 3.5 or above.

According to the Princeton Review, UCONN's freshman class (at the Storrs CT campus) had these scores:

    SAT:

    Reading Middle 50%:

    530 - 630

    Math Middle 50%:

    560 - 660

    Writing Middle 50%:

    540 - 640

    ACT Middle 50%:

    23 - 28

I didn't find the average GPA, but if you have your SAT or ACT scores, you should see if you are within those averages in order to determine if you would probably be accepted to UCONN.
