What is a good home Toothache Remedy?

ive been using advil which works ok but when i use aleve,it kills the pain completly.i have a dentist appt in about a week.is there any other pain relievers besides otc medicine that i can try.ive heard that using these otc pain relievers for extended periods can be dangerous.how about natural pain remedies?

If you gargle Alcohol, NOT rubbing alcohol, IT numbs it, short term...

At one point I was in such pain I took 4 IB Profins.... felt so good..

Anti-inflammatory medicine combined with paracetamol really does work. Have you tried rubbing clove oil onto the affected tooth it is also very effective. If it is unbearable then perhaps there is an emergency dentist nearby that could see you soon

Try a good pair of pliers. If that does not work the old fashion string/doornob technique is a good backup.
