  1. quarter horses!!!

  2. If you want an all around good horse, get a quarter horse. they can be trained for almost anything and very nice attitudes. (mostly)  I have a thoroughbred and a quarter horse... For your first horse DON'T get a thoroughbred until you are experienced. But my QH is a SWEETHEART! he is the sweetest horse you can imagine... i know alot of qh's like that... so i would reccomment a quarter horse.! Godbless!

  3. A well broken quarter horse

  4. its not the breed that matters. but if you want my opinion...

    arabian

    quarter horse

    thoroughbred

all work for what you want, just have to get the horse thats trained for what you want.

and haflingers can jump.. you just gotta get one that is trained to jump

  5. best bet would a quarter horse,

you can do alot of things with them

you can probably do almost everything with them

    hope this helps (:

  6. quarter horses...they come in soo many different colors and they have very good temperments on trail rides.  they can also jump!  quarter horses you can almost do anything...they are soo well mannered too!  i hope i helped! i have 2 quarter horses...they are amazing...

Chief - i do western pleasure, jumping, and dressage...amazing!

Tuck - he is only 3 but i do barrels and poles with him...

as you can see, they can do ALOT!

  7. appendix quarter horse!

the spirit and size of a thoroughbred for jumping

and the more mellow mood and look of a quarter horse

  8. You might wanta quarter horse, there quiet, and pretty good jumpers

  9. most horses fit that

but spotted saddle horses have nice smooth round backs and they have fast smooth gates

most are really feisty and they even  have an organazation for spotted saddle horses :]

  10. A mixed thoroughbred will do great. I have one and he is the greatest. Really good at jumping and a great trail horse. Or you could get a quarter horse there great to. Over all though it doesn't matter what breed of horse you get, its the way the horse has been or is going to be trained.

  11. i would say a thourghbred cross, they are good for what you want.

  12. probally an older, wiser quarter horse, if you are not jumping over 3ft

  13. i agree with many people.

quarter horses are a good size

they can do lots of things

    best of luck!

P.S. are you looking for one

    on a website?

  14. i would recommend a QH.I have a 12 year old 16hh bay QH gelding and he is wonderful.i ride english pleasure, jumping, and some dressage w/ him.hes high strung and only for an experienced rider but hes sweet and you can very easily find 1 thats not as spirited as mine.they make great all around horses.i would also recommend u get a horse thats 7 years or older, that way theyre calmer and have more experience.theyre just easier and more enjoyable to ride.good luck!

  15. haflingers can jump to some extent, if your not doing big stuff.

If you are small enough, a welsh cross pony or horse would be awesome.

If not probably a QH or TB depending on what you are giong to be doing and what your price range is.

  16. I think you really should go with a quarter or thoroughbred. They are great endurance horses and they are able to do all your agility type things.

  17. Spotted saddle horse.

  18. I would recommend a Quarter horse. If you like the look of Halflingers you could get a Palomino. Oh and Halflingers can actually jump pretty well. I used to ride a Belgian Draft. I got her to jump around 3 feet before I had to leave the barn.

  19. Quarter horses are great

    or a Tb cross warmblood.

  20. a Quarter horse would be best.  They are a great all around horse, or even a Quarter horse mixed with something else would be great.  It doesn't always depend on the breed, sometimes you can find a completely random breed that can do it all.  It mostly depends on your skill level, the horses skill level and temperament.  Thoroughbreds are another great breed and Arbas can do alot to, but they tend to be more high strung.  If you want something like an Arab, try a Morab (is that an actual breed now?  I have been out of the horses for so long I don't even know).  I am not a big fan of Morgans because they tend to be hard headed (though absolutely beautiful), but a morab is the right combo and are very pretty horses.  Try some sort of appy (again, not a huge fan).  I had a TB/appy cross when I was a kid and he did anything you asked and he was the best.

I had a kid I used to give lessons to who used a draft horse for jumping, I kid you not.  granted it was super low stuff and she only used him while she was learning, but this was another horse that did everything.

  21. TB's. Most any horses.

  22. if you are asking people what is a good horse for you then u obivously arent ready to get one.

  23. i think u would really enjoy  a paint horse!!!!

  24. arabian

    quarter horse

    thoroughbred

  25. try a thouroghbred gelding or mare
