  1. When I used to babysit they had their own rate of $5 an hour per They wanted to pay me $10 for both of their children but i said it was to much and we decided on $7 per our. Or another thing you can do if you are going to do this all day everyday is come up with a rate for the whole week. Hope I helped.

  2. You could charge 7 for a 1 year old and 5 for a 3 year old as managing a 1 year old needs more patience and more attention.

  3. it depends which state and city you live?big cities for part time baby sitting usually is $10/hr.if you have to do full time then it will be some thing like $300/week.(5days a week).it seems that you do not have any baby sitting experience then you have to make your rates low ie.$7/hr for one child and if they are two so at least $10/hr for part time baby sitting.if you want to keep baby sitting so start the sitting and keep hold the family who need you as a permenent baby sitter for their kids.in that way you the kids and family all will be happy.         i worked this job and was paid $10/hr.for four hrs i use to get $50/-but i was mature and experience baby sitter and no child limit.i use to take care of twins and two 5 and 3 years sisters, plus some times their relatives also drop their two kids.i do not mind to handle them.because my first condition always was that i will baby sit only well behaved and well mannered kids.so i never have problems.i love baby sitting job.have fun with the kids and get paid.

    good luck.

  4. i used to make about 7 an hour no matter how many kids i was watching....

people always told me to raise my prices...

i think you should do it PER kid...

    do you know the kids?

    are they hard to watch?

just say 5 dollars a kid, per hour.  thats what i would do.

unless later on your watching someone who has lots of kids...

say they had four kids... that would cost them 20 an hour...

i would tell them its only 15 or 12 or something like that.
