  1. There are a lot of good used hybrid clubs under $100.  Go to your local golf discount store (like Golf Galaxy, Golf Smith...etc) and take a look.  If you are looking for a new club, Taylor-made makes a Rescue Mid (in 3,4 or 5) that you can probably find brand new for $79.00 at almost any discount shops or on the internet.

Hybrids are more forgiving and easier to hit than the counterpart iron.  (4H vs 4 iron...etc).  Especially on a mis-hit, the hybrid will still launch the ball forward more often then the iron.  For novice or casual golfers that have a hard time with the long irons and therefore can't hit the long shots, the hybrid will definitely solve that problem (not all the time, but more often).

  2. Inferno Titanium Complete Men's Golf Club Set with Bag at $89.99 or

New Inferno PETITE Complete Lady Golf Club Set with Stand Bag at $89.99

  3. Find out where the nearest Golf Galaxy is to your house and go there.  They have a hitting area with a launch monitor that will allow you to see how you hit each club.  Just look through their used club section for any hybrid under $100 (could be any brand) and try hitting it.  Compare it to any others and go with the one that performs the best for you.

  4. if you go to a golf course get a lesson in tried different styles .and see what the teaching pro would suggest .if he's honest he would make a couple of suggestions ,and see which one you hit consistency in the same spot .or go to a good club maker and he can fit you .
