My friend's bridal party isn't helping her much with the shower. I'm going to make her some favors to help out. I need something not expensive and cute! Something I can make or put together. The shower is this Saturday so I don't have much time!!!!

  1. For my shower, my mom put chocolates at each place setting,  she also gave away the centerpieces for the prizes.

  2. you can get some good ideas for favors at:

    http://www.sophiesfavors.com

  3. Check www.weddingfavors.com for ideas, they have thousands!

    A few easy ones:

    - Jordan Almonds in tulle tied with a ribbon

    - Hershey's Kisses in tulle tied with a ribbon

    - Small votive candles in Wedding Cake scent

If you go to WalMart they even have favor kits you can make right there. Not a big selection but they do have some!

    Good luck

  4. for mine we had candles in a little candle holder. they were from the dollar store.

  5. There are probably about a million ideas you can get off the net, but here are a few.  One of the cutest that I've seen, is buy several yards of net fabric (like the veil is made of) and make little bags with pretty ribbons.  In each bag, put in some very simple, but pretty soaps, in shapes like hearts, butterflies, flowers, etc.  You could probably do enough for 25 people for under 50.00.  You could also go to someplace like World Market and buy little woven baskets and put the pretty soaps in there.  You can get a small woven basket with a lid for less than 3 dollars.  They don't look cheap and everyone loves them.  Candles are also very, very popular.  See if you can find some with the theme of love or hearts.  Good luck!

  6. yikes!  I just saw your posting, but check this website www.tinniewinnie.com for future reference.

  7. Is it an all-girl's bridal shower? You could get a bunch of inexpensive lip glosses or nail polishes and wrap them in tulle, and have them mixed in a nice basket so that guests can take them as they leave. Sometimes drugstores will have these kinds of things on sale and you can stock up.

I always see those diamond engagement ring keychains all over at bridal supply stores, and I always think those would be cute bridal-theme favors.  Also, any candy is sure to be a hit!

Just think of a little thing your guests would enjoy, and go with it. Hope that helps!

  8. If you want something very simple, get some lace bags, they should sell them at your local craft store.  And buy some poutpourri. Fill the bags with poutpourri, and tie with a satin ribbon. They really come out quite cute. You can see a picture of them, here:
