What is a good insurance company to get good coverage for a really, really good price?

Any companies that are dependable that give good prices on insurance for everybody including teens? Any advice or suggestions on good insurance companies for vehicles?

You get what you pay for. My experience is that the best service is by a agent that has a office near you. That way communication and help is allot better in person.

My insurance is with the biggest insurer in the US. My father was my agent until he retired. When my friends found out how much my car insurance was they thought I was getting a discount because of my dad.

I paid the same as any other person with a good driving record with only a few claims over my lifetime and 2 speeding tickets in the last 21 years.

Prices also change. You get quotes from all of them and go with Insurer "A" and next month you can call all of them again and insurer "D" may be cheaper.

Do more research on customer satisfaction and let price be your second requirement.

Again you get what you pay for.

I got a really really good rate from unitrindirect.com

Pretty much 20-30 dollars cheaper than everywhere else.

I am 22 and I use Geico.  Out of all the companies they offered me the cheapest rate. I have also heard that Progressive is very affordable as well.  There isn't one insurance company that is better than all the rest though. It's really different for everyone.

That's why it is so important to do your research.  The best way to find the cheapest insurance is to shop around and compare quotes for multiple insurance companies.  You will probably notice that 1 insurance company might offer you a quote $50 a month cheaper than another company.  Just don't settle for the first quote you get, and make sure you ask the insurance company about any special discounts they offer.
