I'm hoping to go for a week at the end of June next year. It'll be for a 20 year old and a 21 year old. Thanks!!

  2. I think you can move by train so you can visit all the biggest city in Italy, like Rome, Florence, Venice.

If you want to see some other beautiful cities you can reach by train Lucca and Siena (are in Tuscany and are very nice!) or Verona (in Veneto).

You can stop in Milan or Turin too, are very interesting.

If you want some disco and environment you can go near Lucca, in Viareggio and Versilia, or in the Rimini's area.

If you like nature and sea you can go to 5 Terre or to Amalfi (but you can't go to Amalfi by train): there are beautiful panoramas!

So I think you can plane:

    1. day:    Rome

    2. day:    Florence

    3. day:    Siena or Lucca and Versilia

    4. day:    5 Terre (or Rimini and San Marino)

    5. day:    Venice

    6. day:    Verona - Milan

    7. day:    Turin

In just a week is not easy to visit all Italy, in fact: with this program you have to travel many hours.

So I think you can visit Rome, Florence and Venice and then stop in one of the other areas (I think Tuscany and 5 Terre are better)

  3. You have to do Florenc, Venice, and Rome. Go to www.frommers.com for more info.

  4. And u'r already planning? ;)

ok....i think that a good plan could be...

visit Rome -arriving there with ur flight- for three days,

then u could either go to the "costiera amalfitana" (so that u'll visit Naples as well) where u can enjoy the seaside OR to Florence, where there are loadsa see-sights & museums....

this way u could just visit two cities, but i don't think one could visit rome in less than 5 days...with my plan it'd take u 3 days,u would miss a few things, but at least will see another city....

or u could stay two days in rome, two in florence and to in naples-costiera amalfitana....

    it's up to you....

if u need any other info u can mail me,it's ok :)
