At your age I worked at a park. After my stint as a part time kid, I worked at home depot for 8 years, now I am a Park Ranger making good money. All experience helps.

Retail experience is the best. I'm 17 and my first job was at Old Navy, been working for about a month now. It's a lot of fun and you get to meet and talk to a lot of people. Some are polite and some aren't , that's how life rolls.
