My interests have always been in the medical field. i cannot imagine having a job in another field they all seem like they would bore me. I always wanted to be a vet but after doing some research i found out that its harder to become a vet than a doctor so that might be out of the question even though it is what i have always wanted to become. I am also interested in becoming an orthopedic and specialize in spine surgery i'm not sure how possible this is. My dad wants me to become a physician assistant like himself but he works literally almost all day and i don't know if i want to work 15 hours a day. Let me get to the point. I want to no of a good amount of medical jobs that are practical and rewarding.

  1. physician assistant is good  and you can work only a few days a week unlike your dad you can look at this and more jobs in the medical field at PureMedicalJobs.com

  2. Your dad should be able to give you all kinds of jobs if he thinks about it!. (and BTW/ an orthopedist {MD} will probably work as much or more as your dad!).  But there are many many medical jobs: med tech (clinical lab scientist), respiratory care practitioner, CT scan, MRI, Xray, techs & sonogram, occupational therapist, physical therapist (you might like that and specialize in orthopedic rehab), surgical tech, autopsy assistant, histo tech, cytologist, play therapist, speech pathologist, pharmacy, nursing, for just a start.  You should be able to find something that fits into your plans!

  3. I know just what you mean. In my family most of us are in the health care field or in the armed services. I live in Raleigh, NC and I'm a CNA II, and my license in phlebotomy tech, dialysis tech and a medication tech. And I take classes  at night for my RN. There are many  great medical jobs the pay well. Good Luck

  4. Hazardous waste engineer
