What is a good job to work on the side from home?

I am a college student and would like to know of any jobs that I can do from home at my own pace. I had this one as an idea to program websites for extra cash, but I'm not much of a programmer. What other things of that sort can I do from home?

I think the best type of home to work from home wouldn't be just a job,  But a business that you run out of your home.  The program idea you had is good.  I'm sorry that I dont' know any programmers to refer you over.  But you asked what other things you can do from home?  There are plenty.  Question is how much money are you needing to make each month? A home job only pays minimum wage.  If this is sufficient amount of income I have a few links.  If this is not sufficient amount of income, I suggest you look into home based business opportunities.  Plenty of different industries to take a look into.  You have the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses.

The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of forum.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

The most important thing for me when choosing a company to work with was that it needed to be not only LEGITIMATE but also CREDIBLE, TRUSTWORTHY and well known on a NATIONAL level.   Most companies I came across online didn't fit this mold but fortunately working for Ameriplan® did!

A job from home requires you to work when you're needed and hired to work, just like a job outside of the home does. If you're wanting to work at your own pace on your own time, you might consider a home business. I started one in November and one of the things that I love is that I don't have a set time to work. I can work in the morning one day and at night the next. It didn't cost me anything to get started, either. I have a link to my business in my profile and others can be found through a Google search

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well .
