I have a 2000 Honda Civic Hatch and I need to get some good speakers in it because I am going to buy a Rockford Fosgate T2 sub. I have a 3 speaker stock setup and I don't think that will be good enough. Just tell me a name brand of whats good. Thanks!

  1. KICKERS MEN!!

    (amateur competition)

  2. BIG L for one thing if it has SONY attached to it, throw it in the garbage since that is where it belongs to begin with.

Do not over look the small reputable companies on this search. Some companies you may not have heard of that others have, could very well be a reputable company. Here is where I would look:

For a 2 way set up  RE Audio 6.5"x*x comp

3 way CDT, Eclipse, Focal, Helix, and Morel

  3. POLK AUDIO. They pump out smaller wattage, but are loud, crisp, and hit heavy bass like you wouldn't imagine. Getting about 4-8 speakers will run you without an amp about $300, and then purchasing a 4 channel speaker amplifier will run another $200 or even less. Look up ratings and reviews of actual people who bought speakers on onlinecarstereo.com.

  4. sony Xplod or clarion

  5. MB quart, Focal, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, JL audio, The list goes on and on. These are all top notch manufacturers.

  6. what you should do is get some pioneer component 6x9 4way speakers in the back with some pioneer component 6 1/2 3way speakers up front and get a small hifonics amp for the front speakers. i believe the HAWK amp would be good its about 240watts 2 channel. and hifonics allows you to cut out all voice or all bass from the system. if you are going to put a T2 in the back it is going to echo very nicely in the hatch. and you put all vocie in front. that is the set up i had but i customized my interior and got 2 6x9 speakers in the front 6 6x9 speakers in the back and i had an excursion about 800 rms with a titan hifonics amp 700 watt 2channel all voice to speakers bass to sub. was putting xplods, kickers, and fosgates to shame. the only thing is i got certified to move the ohms to get a clearer sound and when i got certified they gave me a computer program that shows me the airflow of the set up as it is playing. very very nice program. but try what i said you will be very happy. also you are going to need a small crossover and equalizer for the front speakers.
