There are tons of decks that are good to make. I guess I'll just name a few decks and their weaknesses:

1. Six Samurai deck- This type of deck is sick. Let's say the opponent goes first and just sets a monster. Your first turn, summon Irou, then summon Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, then Great Shogun Shien. Wait a minute did you just summon a bunch of monsters in one turn? Yeah, so? You can special summon a Grandmaster when you have a Six Samurai out, and you can special summon Great Shogun Shien when you have 2 six samurai out. Attack with Irou, get rid of his monster, then attack directly. You just took out more than 4000 of his Life Points and he can only activate 1 Spell/Trap per turn thanks to Shogun. The deck focuses on the Six Samurai and their effects. Never leave 1 behind. Get the Six Samurai you need with Reinforcement of the Army. What makes them great is the fact that if one is destroyed, you can have another be destroyed instead! Their weakness is having all of them destroyed at one time. Use Prime Material Dragon in your deck to prevent that.

2. Crystal Beast deck- This deck focuses on monsters that turn into continuous spells when destroyed. There are many support cards and a leader card, Rainbow Dragon. I run Crystal Beasts myself. They can be extremely quick, but they like to work  with the grave. A removal deck stops Crystal Beasts cold.

3. Dark deck- This deck focuses on Dark monsters. Luckily there are many new Dark-altered monsters and those are usually the stars of the deck. The dark deck really doesn't have weaknesses, except that it needs DARK monsters in the grave to summon the most powerful DARK monsters. Try a removal deck or a deck Tualatin in it.

4. Cloudian deck- Okay, these aren't as powerful, but take them lightly and you are on the highway to defeat. These guys can't be destroyed in battle, but when they are in face-up Defense position, they blow up. This can be annoying with The Sanctuary In The Sky, since most Cloudians are fairies. If you want a new one in play, all you have to do is twist your wrist and destroy one and summon another. They run on Fog counters. This deck's weakness is monster destruction and taking huge amounts of battle damage. After all, most Cloudians can be searched out by Sangan. Cloudians don't do well against hugely aggressive decks.

my favorite deck is the horus deck, mines is very powerful.
