What is a good labor and food cost in a restaurant

Anyone in management who knows or anybody that can help would be greatly appreciated.This would be a restaurant that makes 32,000 a week which comes out to 1,500,000.00 yearly

It seems like you need to determine what food you intend to serve, find out what it is going to cost you to get the food, and then find out what the competitive rate is for the labor by finding out how much they pay at other restaurants.   Then you can work up your budget from there and determine what the costs are going to be.  If you just guess at the cost and then it turns out to be higher, you will be in trouble.

    It also depends on the area of the country you are in.

    pay for cooks ranges from $7.50 starting pay to $16 an hr
