  1. it will state it on your tire!  Every tire is different!

  2. put 5 more psi than what the car door sezs.  better gas mileage

  3. It all depends upon the tires/tyres rating and for what is used for. To expect a universal answer is unrealistic,

  4. 32 lbs when tires are cold

  5. You have to decide what is more important to you, the car factory ride (look on the label for the tire pressure, OR in your owners manual) or better gas mileage, for better fuel economy And a little firmer ride I try for about 6-8 PSI LESS then the maximum rating stated on the tire itself. Over the years I have been doing mine this way, I have never seen signs that I got less tire wear out of a set of tires then following the car manufacturers suggested tire pressure settings.  I ONLY set mine on Cold tires, NOT after they have been driven on for something over 5 miles.

  6. That depends on the vehicle and there can be a huge variation from one brand and model to the next.  What may be far too low for one might be way too high for another.

Vehicle manufacturers install a Vehicle Information Tag on each vehicle, usually found inside the drivers door frame on most cars but sometimes inside the glovebox door (some Toyota's), inside the drivers side rear door (Nissan), under the center console lid (Nissan) or inside the fuel door (various).  This lists the inflation pressure you should use when using any tire of any brand that is the same size as originally fitted to the vehicle.  This inflation pressure was arrived by scores of automotive engineers doing thousands of hours of computer simulations, lab tests and millions of miles of real world driving.  They know better what works for your car than some anyonymous moron on the internet.

Do not look at the tire to determine the correct inflation pressure for your vehicle.  The only information you will find on the tire is the maximum pressure it is rated for, not what it should be inflated to on your car or truck.

  7. Read the sticker on the inside of the driver's door jamb.
