I have tendinitis in my wrist and lately the rods the men have on the boat have made it unbearable, especially when I go to set the hook and when reeling in, too. The rods are just too heavy for my wrist...so, please, recommend some good lightweight ocean rods. I'd really like to research before I go in to the shop to try & buy one. Links and/or pics are a bonus. I (try to anyway) fish for flounder. I grew up fishing, but never really learned much about it. I just recently started to attempt to educate myself, so I'll be around with all kinds of questions. I was much better as a kid. I think I kinda suck now ;-(

Thanks

  1. it depends on how much you want to spend.

I've heard that G Loomis makes good ocean rods.

You might also want to get those belt things where you can support your rod while reeling in.

    Tight lines!
