  1. If you are looking for a broadband solution, you can use this website to find out what’s available in your area:

  2. OMG, I am sorry but doesn't AT&T just suck ***? I mean I had it for one week and I was like come and get this c**p outta here. It was horrible, like sooooo much spam I could not deal with it. My parents have peoplepc and it's high speed and they really like it. I now have Comcast and it's awesome, I really love it. Good luck in whatever you choose.

  3. I have Cox Cable where I'm staying for college and they have 1.5Mbps for about $25 per month.  More for higher speed.

My parents have Verizon FiOS (not available in all areas) for phone/internet/TV and say it's far cheaper than what they paid for phone and cable TV alone before and the internet is far faster than they had before (5Mbps)

If you have a neighbor you know very well, you might talk to them about setting up wireless and splitting the bill - it would save you both some money.

  4. heh.  I've been using DSLExtreme the last few years, specifically to avoid using ATT.  Just because I hate that company in general.

I like them. No idea if they're available where you are though.

  5. I Don't Know if this would be available in your area, but Road Runner High Speed seems to be fast and not to expensive.
