  1. If you are looking for 1 bait to catch all three fish I would go with red worms or night crawlers

  3. I just wanted to say hello and let you all know about my fishing website.

  4. for catfish use hot dogs or chicken livers n let them sit in the sun all day until they smell worse than anything in the world bass try rubber worms such as senko n corn or spinners for trout or even nightcrawlers or minnows

  5. Catfish - various stink baits/doughs (Wal-Mart), or cut up frozen mackeral or catch a small fish and cut it up in big pieces (size 1/0 or 1 or 2 hook) with just enough weight to get it out and down to the bottom - or a big fat night crawler on a size 1 or 2 hook.

Bass - topwater lures in the early morning or at dusk

shiners (3-4 inches long) anytime with a bobber or w/out

crayfish (2-3 inches) hooked in the tail size 4 hook on bottom

              no sinker

              nightcrawlers no sinker or weight

              small bluegill

later in the day shallow running crankbaits or spinner baits

trout  small / med size night crawlers, salmon eggs w/ clear bobber

mealworms /waxworms (size 16 hook w clear bobber)

small rooster tails, mepps algia or black fury (dressed)

berkley power bait (yellow works best for me) but be sure to have at least 3-4 colors  yellow, chartruse, FL orange and pink

size 16 treble hook(if you plan on keeping the fish) single hook for catch & release.

hook  >>>   15-20"   2lb or 4lb leader >>>size 14 barrel swivel >>> 1/8 oz egg sinker    roll the dough just enough to cover up the hook barbs

    Good luck fishing...

  6. do what Joe American said to do. I must add that you can not use the same rod with much success though you will need a light action (I suggest a spinning rod and reel) for trout with two maybe four pound test and green color will get you more bites in a moss laden pond. You will need a medium action (and I suggest a spinning rod and reel) for catfishing in order to set the hook better. For the bass I suggest a heavy action or medium heavy at the lease (you can use a med heavy for the cats and the bass) (I think however that baitcasters allow a resounding ability to precisely cast and when bass fishing the cast is fifty percent of the bite.mastering it is 50% of your spare time.

  7. use a nightcrawler with a ultralight for the most fun in catching any of the three. You will probly lose a lot of tackle until you get the hang of it though.
