What is a good major in preparation to become a radiologist?

I am going to college this fall, and I was wondering what I should major in. If I want to pursue in becoming a radiologist, what should I major in?

How many years of school + med school, will I need to go through. Degree?

  1. Depends on what type of radiologist you want to become.  A diagnostic radiologist requires a minimum of an undergraduate degree, four years of medical school, and five years of post-graduate training.  You could also become a radiologic technologist (who performs the actual exam) with a two-year Associates Degree.
