What is a good mascot for an environmental club called Mojave Green?

i would like to create a mascot for an environmental club called Mojave Green or any other suggestions for a club name, .....any thing would be fine, but it needs a mascot because im creating some t-shirts and i cant think of a mascot

I would chose a beautiful cactus because they are green, provide water, flower and are in the Mojave desert - it would represent a living thriving piece of nature in an inhospitable environment.  Much like many elements in nature due to global warming and other crimes against nature.

please keep the native american part out of it....i would suggest, a picture of the earth and water cycle somewhere in it....

My first thought was a kangaroo rat with a green cape, like a little desert superhero! That's pretty cheesy, I know, but it just popped into my head.

I would suggest something that tie in the color green and something that represent the fact that Mojave is Native American Tribe name.   Green teepe with a tree next too it??? Or a Teepe with a tree depicted on the side of it in white ??
