I have been interested in Forensic Science since CSI first appeared on television (not my only reason, but was the reason I began to research the career). I am having a hard time choosing a minor for my degree, and I want to know what would be the best option to get the most out of the career.

  1. I suggest that you study biochemistry.  Forget psychology, it really won't tell you anything useful.

  2. Physics.

Having a academic understanding of physics at the college level visa ve the minor, will be very valuable to a career in forensic science. The knowledge of physics will help in the investigation of bullet travel (ballistics), blood spatter, impact and collision (vehicle accidents). And many more aspects of forensic science.

  3. Probably Psychology, as a minor.  Others include Biology or Neuroscience if you want to go the more scientific route, which may be recommended in this day and age.
