What is a good mommy?

a person who takes care of you in your time of need regardless if you are an infant, small child, teen or grown. My children are all grown and they still need my comfort, advice, assistance in some matters of their life. They will all tell you that I am the best. I have always taken care of their needs fixed their hurts been a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen even if it is 3:00 in the morning my door was open for them. My mother died when I was 6 so I never really had what I needed at times. So I carried on and done the best I could. I feel like I have been a "good mommy" for 35 years.

Mine is. We had shelter, food, clothing, heat, medical insurance, etc. If you were willing to tell her whatever bothered you, she'd listen. If you got into trouble, you were still loved. You always had a home and could run back if life was too much. You were given a moral compass and then she hoped you'd follow it. A good mother loves and gives and doesn't wait for a reward for it.
