Green Salad with Balsamic Vignarette Dressing (get a bag of mixed baby salad greens & buy the dressing

COMPANY CHICKEN

6 whole chicken b*****s

salt & pepper

1/2 tsp. thyme (or oregano)

1 pt. sour cream

1 (16 oz) pkg cheddar cheese crackers (smashed into crumbs)

1/4 lb. butter

      Preheat oven to 350.  Wash chicken, and sprinkle with salt, pepper & thyme (or oregano).  Spread them with sour cream and roll them in the cracker crumbs.  Melt the butter in the oven on a large cookie sheet with sides.  Lay chicken pieces in melted butter and immediately turn them over in butter.  Bake 1 to 1-1/2 hrs. or until tender (no need to turn during baking)....  Serves 6

RICE & SPINACH

1/4 c. melted butter (1/2 stick)

8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 c. chopped onion

1 pkg (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained

1 c. Minute Rice, raw

1/2 tsp. garlic salt

1/4 c. sour cream

      Mix everything together and put into a 2 qt (or 9x13" pan).  Cover and bake 1 hour at 350......

The chicken and rice/spinach can bake together (same temp)

BROWNIE DUMP CAKE

1pkg. chocolate cake mix

1 small package INSTANT chocolate pudding mix

4 eggs

3/4 c. oil

3/4 c. water

1 (6 oz) pkg. chocolate chips

1 c. chopped nuts

powdered sugar (to sprinkle on top)

       Dump all ingredients (except chips & nuts) together and beat well for 4 min.  Blend in chips & nuts.  Put into greased bundt or tube pan and bake at 350 for 45-50 min.  Cool 10 min & remove from pan.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar

that's really considered of you do something nice for you mom. i have this cake that I've made up my self very simple but has a very unique taste to it.  if your mom does not like alcohol then this is a no no.  you have two choices either to  make the cake from scratch or just buy a cake mix.  i can be a  very lazy person so i choose option 2 (cake mix) i prefer Betty Crocker super moist cake mix you can choose either chocolate or vanilla. then on the box it will show you the procedures of how the cake should be made. after the cake is baked lest the  cake cool for about 20min. you should have set a side 20 sliced strawberries and 1 bottle of Irish cream liqueur. cut the cake sideways straight  (which should be baked in a flat medium round pan) add 5 table spoons of Irish cream liqueur to the bottom of the cake half of the cake remember to even it out. then add the strawberry all packed together on the bottom half. cover the cake with the other half and let it sit there for about 10min. while you Wait you should either made your own icing or buy form the store professional wedding cake decor icing. i personally prefer to buy then to make takes to much time. so then you decorate the cake and there you have your Irish strawberry cake.  the trick to decorating a cake is skill and you get it by practice so stay cool.

PS keep the icing cool with ice
