What is a good motor bike for beginners ?

Question

I have never rhode a bike before. I really want to get a bik. I am going to take a class before but I just wanted to what be good bike to begin with. I do want something thats not too heavy and not too fast. I am going to be using mostly for riding on day off for a little while.

Why don't you post this in the cars & transportation/motorcycles section.  We are mostly bicyclists here.  I am sure you'll get more responses there.

Ask in the motorcycle sections, but I would look at 500cc and under for your first bike. Don't listen to those who will steer you towards a 600cc or larger sport bike for your first bike.
