Hi, im trying to see what Suzuki sports bike should I start with to drive. I'm 6'0 feet and 260. So what bike do you suggest I should start with to drive a 750 or 1000. Because I am getting one in January 2009.

  1. If you have no biking experience a 750 is too much.

Start with a 125 or 250 at most, even just for a few months to get the feel of how bikes handle.

Once you are fully comfortable then consider moving up.

  2. I've RACED an SV650 - x*x -

  3. Sorry, but you must have clicked the wrong section, as this is the motorcycle RACING questions.

Your question does not involve Racing so .....

The best advice I can give you is you to post this question again.

You would get a better response in....

    "Cars & Transportation"> "Motorcycles"

  4. You pretty much narrowed it down yourself by saying "suzuki sportbike" My first bike, that I got a year ago, is a 2006 SV650S. It is one of the best beginner bikes made. Its VERY forgiving on clutch and throttle mistakes. They have enough power that you can grow into but not so much so that you won't feel uncomfortable as a beginner. Go with the SV.

  5. Go with one your comfortable with. My First bike was a 750 and it took me a while to get used to it.  Why don't you try to rent one you think you'll like and see how it feels?
