My local theater is doing a performance where each actor sings songs and does a couple of group songs. What would be a good up beat broadway song for a group of teenaged/young adult girls to sing?

  1. Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now- Hairspray!!!

Anything from Hairspray would be awesome!

    Good Luck!

  2. 'dreaming of you'

from the musical, singing in the rain

  3. "Mama Who Bore Me-Reprise" From Spring Awakening

"Oh My God You Guys"-Legally Blonde

    "Welcome to the 60s"-Hairspray

    "Matchmaker"-Fiddler on the Roof

    "My Junk" Spring Awakening

  4. You could do 'Omigod You Guys' from Legally Blonde.

  5. Any of the group numbers from "Nunsense" would be good. (i.e. "Nunsense is Habit Forming," "Holier Than Thou," etc.)

Also, "Holding Out For A Hero" from Footloose, "Look At Me, I'm Sandra Dee" from Grease, any group number from "Mamma Mia!" and "Always Look On The Bright side of Life" from Spamalot would be good.

If you really want to get funky, I recommend "Why Should I Worry?" from the Disney film "Oliver and Company." :)
