I knew a horse once whose "flea bites" were actually red instead of grey (you couldn't tell unless you looked fairly closely though)...and it was named Red Rain, which I thought was pretty cool.  (I say it because I can't remember that horse's gender).

I browsed some names from this website http://www.horses-and-horse-information.... there are a TON, it's a really great website... I thought this name would suit a flea-bitten horse well "Always a Dot" (they have teeny tiny polka dots so I think it works). You could call your hotse Dotti or Polka-Dot or if you want get one from the website you like better. Hope this helped =]
