What is a good name to call a stepdad besides father or dad? something in indian would be nice, but what?

i would like to find an indian name that refers to father or dad. but not chief. if anyone knows of any nicknames to call a stepfather or step dadd, please let me know.

If you mean Native American the translated word for father in Cherokee is pronounce   doe dah . I will not give the actual spelling it can get confusing . If you need the actual spelling you can email me .

But in Cherokee father is pronounced  doe dah . There are other variations but this would be the simplest for a child .

Now if you mean from the country India , I believe it is pa pa .

me and my kids were talking about that today.  there was a car with the name of a pizza rest. called 'papa john's' and it made me say 'baba can'  which in turkish it might mean soul daddy LOL im just kidding.  then, in spanish 'baba' means drool, in turkish it means dad

so my son's said baba baba for drool daddy. lol  anyway, i dont know any indian dad names.

My daughter calls her step dad Beau Pere--it is Cajun French for step dad.

Don't know about Indian.
