About 150 is average, 240 is perfect, and anything above 200 is very good.

When I took the SAT, a perfect score was 1400 points. But then politicians added so many points to the test to make it look like the educational system was doing it's job, that soon cheap colleges were requiring a 1400 point minimum for admittance! And 1/4 of HS grads were illiterate! The point I wish to make is that it all has become such a sham that it doesn't deserve being dignified by anyone taking it seriously. If you are a good student, you will find a good school, and that's the bottom line. Regards, Larry.
