What is a good outfit for the first day of college?

I'm confused,I don't know what to wear for the first day of College. I haven't gone shopping because I won't be starting until a while from now because I'm working and I just I got my High School Diploma.I want to dress different from how I did in High School and be more serious and sophisticated.Does anyone know any suggestions on what I should wear?Your help would be appreciated, Thank you.

From experience. There is NO need to feel like you need to dress up. You need to dress for comfort. Definatly some comfortale shoes. Alot of walking and alot of going around to buy last minute books, find class buildings, climbing stairs. Everyone is there to learn and get started on the rest of thier lives. So you just go right with the flow, and be comfortable. Your more sophisticated already just for being in college lol....
