Boethius' The Consolation of Philosophy... can a good person be unhappy? What is happiness according to Boethius? What is good?

  1. It would really all depend on the individual.  If someone is happiest when being bad, then wouldn't that make them unhappy when there good?  Or if someone thinks that being good is limiting there lifestyle and experience then it would also make them unhappy, no?

    But on the other hand, we have people who enjoy being good and making life better for others.  These people are often the people who find happiness in companionship and not out of materialistic things.
