  1. goldfish, aw yea

or since your a rodent expert, one of those, maybe a fancy rat?

    rabbits too

  2. maybe a hamster

  3. A cat, Independent enough that they don't need as much attention and care as a dog but affectionate and fun pets. I got my cat when I was 12 she was my first cat and I have had her 5 years. I am now completely convinced that I won't ever be with out a cat for as long as I live. If you do decide to one I suggest that you go to your local animal shelter and adopt one and also if you haven't had one before I recommend that you get a kitten because they such good fun.

  4. Snakes and lizards are usually very popular with boys of all ages, but if you are looking for more of the... warm, fuzzy creatures then I would suggest rats, monkeys, and  dogs. And yes you can own a monkey depending though on any state restrictions/laws. And dogs are usually always a safe bet. Good luck on finding the right one!!

  5. SEAMONKEYS

  6. Chincilla!

Oh my gosh - those little creatures are so cute. They don't like to be picked up I don't think. I'm not sure - you're the expert!

I think this is a good pet for your 13 year old son! I'm not sure, but get him a cute little Chincilla. They're so cuddly and soft. I think anyway. lol.

Well, best of luck! Hope this helped you! He'll like it, I promise!

  7. well u can get him a little dog or a big one. or if u like really small  get him a guina pig there really cute and cudly. or if hes in to reptiles get him a turtle or a lizzard

  8. I had guinea pigs growing up... He just needs to clean the cages once a week and make sure he feeds them everyday. I also had hamsters and rats. Not wild rats, but tame rats. Or else a small puppy...

  9. A bearded Dragon!!

They Love any attention you give them and just the same are content watching you walk around!

Mine likes to sit on my shoulder and watch TV! He is great with my kids, i even took him to their preschool.  He loved it.

They don't bite. they don't even try to.will eat from your hand, and are very easy to take care of!!!

I would recommend one for any one of any age!!

  10. guinea pigs..

    They are the best pets..

    You should Adopt one from:

    petfinder.com

    or buy one from Petsmart/Petco

  11. a dog would be good if u think he's ready for one. I know a lot of teen boys who have a dog and are in love with them.

But if u don't think he's ready for a dog...get him something small like a lizard or snake...u know, something boys like :-)

  12. a dog, visit my moms website to look at dogs for sale(we are also qutting chuahuas,so we are only kepping a few of the adults, but most of our dogs are for sale)

    www.divadawgs.com

    contact her on further information!

or,a snake would be great to have!

  13. a hamster, ther good cuz theyll teach ur kid about responsibility. you have to be resposible for feeding them, playing with them and changing their bedding. they're also good cuz they aren't stinky, and they are really friendly and lovable pets. I use to have one, so i know.

  14. I am 13, and i find that a dog is a good companion, a bunny is a good companion, and a horse. But i dnt know if youlive any where that u would be able to have a horse, but otherwise go for the dog, or bunny! :)

  15. When I was 13 I wanted a pet rat more than anything.(well, I didn't get one until I was 18!) Personally, I think rats are ideal "teen pets". They are full of personality, are easy to care for, & have mild shock value. Teens love that! Whether you love them or hate them, rats attract attention. I used to love carrying my Rosie around & have people either want to pet her & ask questions about her, or  would be repulsed by her. I used to feel smug when people were repulsed. They had no idea how GREAT pet rats are!

But have you asked your son what he wants in a pet? There's a good jumping off point. What does he like? Good luck & happy hunting!

  16. Hamster,Guinea Pig, Rat, Mouse, Lizard, Bird,Turtle, or if you are up to the challenge, A DOG! I have also heard that ferrets make GREAT pets, especially if your son wants a companion, ferrets LOVE people!

  17. snake
