  1. I live in Myrtle Beach at the Seawatch Plantation and other upscale condominiums/hotels for my job, which is to go around and write reviews for all upscale condominiums/hotels. But anyways, with that, i get money to go and review any restraunts that i want to. I have been to many seafood resraunts like what you are looking for. Here are some reviews that i wrote......

    P.S. "Calabash" is Grilled Seafood.

    Drunkén Jack's

For the freshest seafood right off of the boat prepared to perfection grilled, blackened, sautéed, or southern fried, visit Drunkén Jack's on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet. Drunkén Jack's also features steaks, prime rib & chicken. Or try one of their Low Country Specialties and don't pass up the famous Hush Puppies with Honey Butter! Drunkén Jack's is open daily serving dinner from 4:30PM until 10:00PM . The Lounge opens daily at 3:00PM for cocktails and appetizers.

    Benjamin's Original Calabash Seafood

An all-you-can-eat buffet featuring over 170 items including crab legs, steaks, pasta station, carving station, grilled, steamed, broiled and fried seafood, salad bar and homemade soups, in-house bakery and desserts. Located on the water the Original Benjamins is the largest calabash seafood restaurant on the strand.

    The Giant Crab

Giant Crab features an extensive buffet that includes broiled, fried and baked seafoods, peel-and-eat shrimp, raw and steamed oysters, mussels and clams, prime rib, baked ham, roasted turkey, beef ribs, chicken, soups, salads, freshly baked bread, kid's selections like hamburgers, hot dots, corn dogs, chicken fingers and french fries, and a dessert bar that includes cakes, icecream, and fresh fruit in season.

    Hope I helped!

  2. I would tell you to hit Restaurant Row in Murrells Inlet.  Anything north of there is way too overpriced/lackluster at best.  Ichiro's just opened near Carolina Forest, and I have heard good things.  Also got good hears from King Kong Sushi in the Piggly Wiggly side of Carolina Forest if you are up for sushi.

Grilled?  Hit Murrells Inlet.  They have classic seafood!
